Why is the adhesive strength so low compared to OCA films?

SI adhesive uses a different bonding mechanism — it’s a gentle-tack silicone that grips securely once pressed down but allows repositioning during installation. The 10–25g/inch range is intentional: strong enough to stay put on curved screens, gentle enough to peel off cleanly without residue or damage.

At 0.25mm, will the film feel bulky?

The TPU material is engineered to conform tightly to the screen, so the added thickness is barely noticeable in daily use. What you will notice is the confidence that comes with serious drop protection — it’s a trade-off most users are happy to make.

Does this thickness affect fingerprint sensor performance?

Optical in-display sensors work normally. Ultrasonic sensors may experience slightly reduced sensitivity due to the film thickness. We recommend testing with your target device if ultrasonic performance is critical.

How does the self-healing compare to thinner films?

The 15–20μm healing layer effectively repairs light scratches and nail marks. Thinner films may heal faster, but BU32 prioritizes impact protection over healing speed — it’s built for users who need maximum screen safety first.

Can I reapply this film after removing it?

We don’t recommend it. Once removed, dust may settle on the adhesive and weaken the bond. For best results, align carefully and apply once.

Does it work on curved screens?

Yes. The flexible TPU base and SI adhesive conform well to curved edges and anti-fingerprint glass without lifting or bubbling over time.
