How thick is BU12-1 and why does that matter?
BU12-1 has a 150 m TPU base with total use layer of 180–195μm — noticeably thicker than standard 100μm hydrogel films. This extra thickness absorbs more impact energy, meaning fewer cracked screens and happier end users.
The 13–15μm self-healing coating repairs light scratches and nail marks within minutes at room temperature. Deeper marks may take longer or leave a faint trace — it’s built for daily wear, not heavy damage.

Will it stay on curved screens without lifting?
Yes. The adhesive is specifically formulated for curved edges and anti-fingerprint glass. It bonds at ≥700g/inch and passes 10-cycle adhesion testing with no debonding — edge lift complaints become rare.
Does the thicker film affect touch sensitivity?
No. TPU transmits touch accurately regardless of thickness. Screen responsiveness stays smooth, and the ≥100° water contact angle keeps fingerprints at bay.
