How is this different from BU04-5?

BU17-2 has a transparent appearance with 18±3% haze for matte anti-glare comfort, while BU04-5 features a light blue tint with ≤1.5% haze for a clearer view. BU17-2 uses blue light OCA technology; BU04-5 uses a blue light TPU base. Choose BU17-2 if you prefer an invisible film with matte glare reduction.

Does the 18% haze make the screen look blurry?

No. The 18±3% haze is designed to diffuse harsh reflections, not blur the display. Text and images remain sharp and readable, while glare from sunlight and overhead lights is noticeably reduced.

What does blue light OCA mean?

Instead of tinting the TPU base, BU17-2 integrates blue light filtering directly into the OCA adhesive layer. This keeps the film visually transparent while still blocking harmful wavelengths at the screen’s surface.

How fast does the self-healing work?

The 15–18μm self-healing layer quickly repairs fingernail marks and light scratches, usually within seconds to minutes at room temperature.

Will it stay on curved screens?
